JULIA OREOPOULOS, National Manager

Julia Oreopoulos is the National Manager for Sing&Grow Australia, overseeing all program and service innovation and delivery. Julia has worked as a Registered Music Therapist for over fifteen years, with clinical experiences across the lifespan including specialities in early intervention, children’s bereavement and palliative care.  She joined the Sing&Grow team in 2014 and took on the National Manager role in 2016.  Julia is passionate about empowering all families to use music in their daily lives to improve their health and well-being. Julia’s custodianship of Sing&Grow has allowed the national team to flourish, trying new and creative ways to engage with a broader cross-section of Australian families whilst staying true to our core goals of supporting children and families with the greatest need.

INGRID EYRES, National Administrator

Ingrid Eyres joined the Sing&Grow team as the National Administrator in 2015. Ingrid’s role sees her supporting the national team of music therapists through the provision of program resources, information and evaluation documentation, and ensuring best processes are maintained. Ingrid’s keen eye for detail and her organisational abilities are a huge asset to the team, allowing service delivery to run smoothly across the country.  Ingrid is based at the Enoggera office in Brisbane.

TINA READ, Manager (NSW/ACT)

Tina Read started with Sing&Grow in 2016 as a Clinical Specialist and joined the national management team as the NSW/ACT Manager in 2020.  Tina is passionate about connecting and supporting families through music and has a wealth of experience working with children transitioning to school. Tina’s energy and enthusiasm for her work is contagious, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the whole national team.  As well as supporting the NSW/ACT team of music therapists, organising and delivering services and developing long-lasting relationships with partnering organisations, Tina also leads Sing&Grow social media presence, supporting families with ongoing access to music therapy-informed resources and information.

JESS HIGGINS, Manager (VIC/TAS)

Jessica Higgins is our Victoria and Tasmania State Manager. She joined the management team in 2019 after working with Sing&Grow for 3 years in a clinical role. In her time as Manager, she has supported the national team in developing online options for delivering our programs and workshops, and has overseen rapid growth in her team of Registered Music Therapists. She is kept busy planning programs across the two states and providing support to her team, while still running workshops herself on occasion (many now online). She appreciates being part of a leading music therapy service in Australia, making tangible and lasting impacts for Australian children and families, and is passionate about ensuring that communities in regional and remote areas have access to quality music therapy services.

LORNA BERRY, Manager (QLD/NT) Learning & Development

Lorna Berry manages the Sing&Grow clinical teams in Queensland and the Northern Territory. She has worked with families experiencing vulnerability with young children for over fifteen years, and specialises in supporting Rural and Indigenous services and Learning and Development for Sing&Grow nationally. Lorna’s passion for advocacy and equity drives our team to continually find better ways to describe the work that we do and adapt our programs as new research and practice knowledge emerges. As well as supporting her teams and delivering programs herself, Lorna is also responsible the Sing&Grow team’s Learning and Development manager, supporting our music therapists to remain abreast the latest developments in theory and practice.

CATHERINE WILMOT, Manager (SA/WA) Program Integrity

Catherine Wilmot is the State Manager for our WA and SA teams.  Catherine has been a Registered Music Therapist for over twenty-five years and began with Sing&Grow in 2005.  In that time she has been part of exciting national innovations, expansions and changes. As well as supporting her team of music therapists, Catherine is also responsible for Sing&Grow’s internal evaluation and data collection processes, ensuring that Sing&Grow continues to provide the best possible service for families that we can. Catherine’s eye for detail and commitment to best practice is a huge asset to the Sing&Grow team.
